Tara

Tara

Tara

She embodies the female divinity in itself. Her name means both "starundquot; and "saviorundquot;. In Tibet she is called "Dölmaundquot;, which means mother. There, she is worshiped as mother of all buddhas. As a gesture of wish granting, her right hand points downwards, the left hand shows the gesture of protection granting.

Green Tara
She is a protector of all dangers and therefore worshipped. At every time of the day she is ready to intervene in a protective or helping way.
